Rojas was the founding editor of Engadget and Gizmodo and Block was editor-in-chief of Engadget. gdgt (like “gadget” — or g-d-g-t) is a new kind of technology site — a social gadget platform that enables you to connect with the community through your gadgets, and connect with your gadgets through the community. App to Watch: Aloqa

My first thought is like this is a mobile yellow pages that brings any and everything to my phone without having to search through Google Maps or my Mobile browser. This is especially valuable on a road trip looking for gas stations, ATM’s, liquor stores or anything else unique.
